Hi! I’m Kristin, creator of The Mindful Plate.

I care deeply about feeling well, living simply, and creating a sense of ease around food and daily life.

For a long time, food didn’t feel simple. Between digestive challenges, conflicting advice, and the pressure to “eat perfectly,” I felt overwhelmed and disconnected from my body.

Living with IBD changed that. It taught me to slow down, listen more closely, and let go of rigid rules that weren’t serving me.

The Mindful Plate was created from that shift.

It’s a space for simple, intentional nourishment, where food supports your body, mood, and energy without overwhelm. You won’t find extremes here, just balanced, approachable meals and mindful habits rooted in real-life experience.
